A Few of My Favorite Tweets
I’ve been out-of-pocket all week, getting re-acquainted with my gorgeous wife while the kids are at camp. In the office for a couple of hours today, I decided to do a quick Twitter scan to see what I’d missed while the periscope was down. Here’s a recap of some of my favorites…
Inspirational: Angst alerts that hit alarmingly close to home: Micro-chats between colleagues that simultaneously inform, cause angst, and soothe:
aweckerle People who rock? Those who take a stand and say it like it is, 'cause someone's got to. I'll hang with 'em & back 'em up any day.
msmrmyr Thinking work must slow down soon so I can return to blogging and experimenting with some new social media ideas, otherwise, I'm out of it.
paullyoung Contemplating going to see Transformers by myself. Could anything be geekier?
kamichat Do you have a Twitter strategy? Scoble says you need one and a Facebook strategy too. Scrambling to get one of each LOL!
And my personal favorite:
davidparmet @Kami 'do you have a XXX strategy' is the nightmare for PR agencies... much fear over nothing
tombiro Wherever we go we bring the monkey with us.

Yep, I think your pursuit was better than ours. Hope you had a fantastic 4th.

Ah, the Brass Monkey. That just caused some flashbacks to a spring break trip my senior year of high school. 1997! Am I really that old?

Sarah - You graduated in 1997 and think you might be old? I am attending my 20th anniversary reunion this month ('87). How d'ya think I feel about that?! ;)

Todd; Thank goodness you are older than me, I graduated in 1988. Whew! Sarah, hope we dinos make you feel better.

Thanks for including me in this list. What's great is that I know every one of the people and have had the pleasure of hanging out personally with most of them.

After some soul searching I saw Transformers on my lonesome - in doing so fulfilling a childhood fantasy.
I was less geekier than the three suits in front of me who giggled like school girls and cheered from the opening credits through to the eventual inevitable demise of the Decepticons ;-)

Okay so I'm not 'old' (and neither are y'all, by the way!), but it sure feels that way sometimes!
Paull--going to the movies by oneself is one of the greatest ways to pass the time. Not geeky at all. Your movie selection...maybe. ;)
