PR-Squared: Blog of the Year in PR Reader’s Choice Awards
Hi gang. As I write this I am literally minutes away from boarding an airplane to San Francisco, and will be incommunicado for the rest of the day … but I can’t board without humbly acknowledging the honor of winning the inaugural “PR Reader’s Choice: Blog of the Year” contest at Arik Hanson’s blog.
Of course, anyone can create a match-up like this (“linkbait!”) and you’d be well within your rights to raise an eyebrow about this new competition. However, Arik’s contest seems truly well-intentioned and community-friendly. Also, I hear that over 400 people voted in this survey — which seems “statistically significant” and yea, feels real good too!
You should be sure to check out the other contestants in Hanson’s competition — there are a handful of categories beyond “Blog of the Year,” and all the blogs mentioned are quality.
So, hey, thanks! Onward and upward (literally)!
